Step by Step Process
- Our cleaners will arrive at the agreed upon time punctually and inspect the floor. They will then proceed to move any furniture,items or rubbish from the space needing to be cleaned.
- The floor will be thoroughly vacuumed followed by all skirting boards protected with tape and other furniture or items in the area protected.
- Stripper will be applied to flooring areas that have previously been polished and a rotary machine will be used to remove old sealer. A high pressure vacuum will then be utilised to remove the water and dirt residue from the floor.
- If the floor has not been previously sealed we will scrub the flooring with a specialised chemical suitable for that particular surface and then use the rotary scrubber followed by the high pressure vacuum for water and dirt residue.
- If the flooring surface is tiled and has grout haze we will utilise the rotary and high pressure machine along with suitable chemicals.
- Once the surface is cleaned and vacuumed, Neutralizer is applied to the surface with a mop
- Once the surface is 100% dry, two base coats will be applied subsequently followed by two top coats of polish. Each coat takes between 30min to 2 hours to dry.
- Once the floor is polished and dry we recommend buffing to level the polish, reduce slip hazards and increase the appearance of the floor.
Frequently Asked Questions

We recommend 2-6 coats varying depending on the type of flooring and the type of space being cleaned.
If the old sealant is in good condition we recommend a cut back and buffing otherwise stipping and sealing is necessary.
Buffing is recommended on almost all types of flooring as it reduces slip risk, and improves the shine of the surface however it is not compulsory as part of the service.
Sealing may increase the risk of slipping depending on the type of flooring which is why we recommend buffing following the sealing service.
Yes. Stripping and sealing protects the floor against damages, stains and scratches.
Glazed Porcelain does not need to be sealed. All other forms of Porcelain tile will need to be sealed.
Yes, we can clean and polish some types of timber but not all as some types of timber flooring need varnish not sealant.
